I love words. (My current favourite is 'pudding'.) As a writer, I love making words work to express an idea, hand-picking a turn of phrase for a particular audience. As an editor, I enjoy ordering and organising words, sorting out syntax and creating consistency. And as a proofreader, I delight in the detail of a well-placed semicolon, an accurate cross-reference, and the correct use of an en-rule. pudding n.  1 a cooked sweet dish served after the main course of a meal 2 a sweet or savoury steamed dish made with suet and flour With more than five years' in-house editorial experience, backed up by a BA degree in Linguistics and English Language, an MA in Language Studies, and plenty of industry-standard training in copy-writing, editing and proofreading, I ensure that any words leaving my desk do so with all the apostrophes in the right places.
